Dr. Jimmy Alburquerque, DMD

Dr. Jimmy Alburquerque grew up in the Dominican Republic. He has been exposed to dentistry since his early days by his mother, father, grandfather, who were dentists and inspired him to pursue the profession. Most of his teenage summers were spent in Northern Virginia with his uncle and cousins.
Dr. Alburquerque graduated from Universidad Autonoma de Santo Domingo in 2010 and pursued advanced dental education in São Paulo University - FOB, one of the top dental schools in Brazil. In the United States, he received his Dental Degree from Boston University Henry M. Goldman School of Dental Medicine. While in school, he was actively involved in the American Dental Student Association, Academy of General Dentistry and was recognized by the Boston Chapter International College of Dentists for his outstanding academic and leadership accomplishments.
Dr. Alburquerque has completed extensive Continuing education courses in root canal therapy, implant dentistry, dental cosmetics, laser dentistry and clear aligners. He is constantly looking for new opportunities to enhance his knowledge and clinical skills to better serve his patients.
Outside of the office, Dr. Alburquerque enjoys spending quality time outdoors with his wife and dog. He also enjoys cooking, traveling, tennis, and soccer.
At this practice, you are greeted by the clerical professionals who are friendly and always make you feel welcome. My appointment for my cleaning was on time and exceptionally completed. My dental professional is patient, kind and highly skilled. What I appreciate about this practice is the manner in which they treat patients. Professionalism and a high standard of care with compassion and kindness speak to the values of all the staff. I am lucky to be a patient and while I don't look forward to my visit they do everything they can to make it more pleasant. Thank you to all.
